Wandering around the dunes with these two Nebraska natives has ended up being one of my favorite engagement sessions I've done lately! I've been doing so many weddings that I forgot how fun it was to just slow down and spend some quality time with my couples. Tiffany and Michael were such a joy to work with and I felt like we hit it off right away!
The whole drive to the park had been stressful and hectic for the bride, but the moment Andrew turned around and saw her for the first time, Morgan melted right into him and it was like they were the only people on Earth. There were moments in the middle of all the picture chaos that I would find them just looking at each other with that dreamy, love struck look in their eyes and I'm so happy I got to be a part of it.
Moving from Hawai'i to Utah in the last year has been a really difficult transition so when this awesome couple contacted me about flying back to the island to capture their wedding, I was ecstatic! It felt like a perfect match because they were also throwing a bigger reception in Utah a week after their ceremony and I got to be there to capture that as well! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Meha!
Being a part of this collaborative shoot was a DREAM and kind of like the realization of that hard work. Nhiya Kaye Photography, better known as Rebecca Johnson or @nhiyakayephoto on Instagram, has been a big inspiration of mine for a while and when she announced she was putting together a styled shoot while she was in Utah and needed some photographers, I pushed aside all anxiety and jumped in! And then all the anxiety came rushing right back.
