I know I probably say this about every engagement session I do, but this has to be one of my favorites. Last summer I had just moved to Utah and didn't know anything about the blossoming flower fields so this year, I was ready! It was even better than I had imagined and it doesn't hurt that this is one crazy good-looking couple.
Watching Karen find a love like the one she shares with Charles has been so special! When I was getting married, Karen had just started *kind of* talking to Charles. They both work at Disneyland and Karen had sworn she would never date a coworker. Three and a half years later, here they are: crazy in love and they can still stand working together. Love you guys so much!
They are two creatives that also work in the wedding industry and are now the cutest husband and wife duo that I am happy to call my friends. Instagram can be a place of intimidating competition and comparison, but it has also been a way to create a creative community the encourages and uplifts; I feel so grateful that these two fit in the latter category. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Marz!
In my time as a photographer, I have gotten a lot of questions about what couples can do to make the most out of their pictures from engagements to wedding day. I mean, if you're going to put in the money, you want the best results right? I'm definitely not an expert and these are all strictly my opinions, but I thought I'd share a couple things I've learned from my experiences!
If Analise is a hurricane, then Sialao is the eye of the storm - calm and collected in the middle of her crazy. She's a powerhouse of energy and ridiculously talented in anything she tries. For example, she wrote a song for him the night before their wedding and performed it while playing the piano at the reception. AND IT WAS AMAZING! It's just who she is. And somehow, she found someone as studly, athletic, and talented as her to be her life partner and eternal companion. To know them is to love them and together, they're unstoppable.
