In my time as a photographer, I have gotten a lot of questions about what couples can do to make the most out of their pictures from engagements to wedding day. I mean, if you're going to put in the money, you want the best results right? I'm definitely not an expert and these are all strictly my opinions, but I thought I'd share a couple things I've learned from my experiences!
If Analise is a hurricane, then Sialao is the eye of the storm - calm and collected in the middle of her crazy. She's a powerhouse of energy and ridiculously talented in anything she tries. For example, she wrote a song for him the night before their wedding and performed it while playing the piano at the reception. AND IT WAS AMAZING! It's just who she is. And somehow, she found someone as studly, athletic, and talented as her to be her life partner and eternal companion. To know them is to love them and together, they're unstoppable.
Being a part of Shawna and Walter's wedding has been one of my favorite experiences in my time as a photographer. These two had so much love and romance between them, it flowed naturally while we were shooting. They seemed to move as one and fall right into place without me needing to pose or direct them - a photographer's dream!
Wandering around the dunes with these two Nebraska natives has ended up being one of my favorite engagement sessions I've done lately! I've been doing so many weddings that I forgot how fun it was to just slow down and spend some quality time with my couples. Tiffany and Michael were such a joy to work with and I felt like we hit it off right away!
The whole drive to the park had been stressful and hectic for the bride, but the moment Andrew turned around and saw her for the first time, Morgan melted right into him and it was like they were the only people on Earth. There were moments in the middle of all the picture chaos that I would find them just looking at each other with that dreamy, love struck look in their eyes and I'm so happy I got to be a part of it.
